Oklahoma resident applicants that currently or have had a real estate license in another state commonly ask what they need to do to receive a real estate license in Oklahoma. While the full procedures are laid out in 605:10-7-10 of the OREC Code and Rules, the two main question themes are the following: “What real estate classes do I need to take?” and “Will I need to take a state exam?”
The documentation and procedures for applying can be found in the OREC Code and Rules under 605:10-7-10 (numbered page 50-52).
The outline above applies only to Oklahoma resident applicants that currently or have held a real estate license in another state. If the above does not apply to you and you would like to start selling real estate in Oklahoma, please visit our real estate school page for more details.
