38' Cabo Rico Custom Offshore 38 B Plan Cutter
Between her classic good looks and legendary motion at sea, it's no wonder this 1991 Cabo Rico 38 was one of famed designer W.I.B. Crealock's most respected and popular designs. PUFFIN comes to the market loaded with equipment for successful bluewater passage-making -- including an offshore life raft installed new in 2016, a Para-Tech sea anchor, and a mast-climbing ladder. Pretty much everything you need is already installed, or aboard, including air conditioning, a diesel generator, and a watermaker. Last year, she got a $4,000 bottom job, and this year, she received a new cutlass bearing and rudder shoe. Her owner also just replaced the depth meter transducer and had all of the fuel and oil filters renewed for both the engine and the generator. Her sail inventory includes a like new Mack full-batten mainsail that was installed in 2015. Also conveying with the sale: a full winter haul-out cover kept in storage, along with a RIB and outboard engine. PUFFIN will bring a smile to the face of anyone who can appreciate her dry cockpit, courtesy of her clipper bow, and the fact that, unlike so many contemporary designs, she never pounds and stands up well to a breeze.
